Event Description

  • Attend weekly masterclasses and hands-on workshops.

  •  Connect with successful veteran entrepreneurs and top industry experts.
  •  Showcase your pitch in an elevator pitch competition.

Brandywine Cares is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, currently licensed to do business in Georgia & Florida, expanding to Texas in 2024.

CareerServe is a four-week, 2-hour/week program,
from November 18 – December 9, 2025, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. This program is for veterans ready to transform their business ideas into reality.

Participants of CareerServe must also attend CareerShift: Small Business Boot Camp, a six-week, 2-hour/week online class. It is given twice a year. The first session is from November 18 – December 9, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The second session will be in the Fall, dates TBD, classes 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. CareerServe provides assistance to veterans interested in becoming an entrepreneur, from assessing your skills, to conceptualizing a business to drafting a business plan and elevator pitch.

Brandywine Cares is a not-for-profit excelling in career readiness and small business preparation, with many successful graduates. Brandywine Cares is leveraging its skills, resources, knowledge and teaching techniques to help veterans. CareerServe will help you use your military experience to pave the way for entrepreneurial success.
